Change in Application Portal Connects Admitted Students with Campus Groups

The Graduate School has made an addition to its application system to help admitted students connect with campus groups that support their diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Now, when admitted applicants log in to the school’s application system to see their admission decision, they will see a list of Duke organizations that serve students of various backgrounds. Admitted applicants can choose to receive information from any of these student groups, and they will then be contacted by those organizations.

“Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, and Duke has resources for students from many different walks of life,” says Liz Hutton, associate dean for admissions at The Graduate School. “This addition to our application portal is one way we are trying to help students tap into that support network as soon as they decide to come to Duke.”
