2024 Ph.D. Hooding Ceremonies: Photos and Videos
On May 11, the Graduate School held two Ph.D. Hooding Ceremonies at Duke Chapel to celebrate its 2023-2024 doctoral graduates. In total, 285 Ph.D. graduates participated in the ceremonies, with over 1,000 guests, staff, and faculty in attendance.
During the morning hooding ceremony for Ph.D. graduates in the biomedical sciences, physical sciences, and engineering, The Graduate School also honored Jill Tiefenthaler (Ph.D.'91 Economics), the 2024 recipient of the school's Distinguished Alumni Award.
