• Develops and administers the academic regulations of the Graduate School, including those involving disciplinary matters, time limitations, leaves, examination/advisory committees and milestone examinations
• Is responsible for the external review of University academic departments and programs, and the internal review of proposed curriculum changes in graduate programs
• Serves as admissions reviewer and as general academic advisor for students who wish to talk to someone outside their own graduate degree programs
