Duke GRADx Talks: Centennial Edition
The Society of Duke Fellows and The Graduate School invite you to attend the Twelfth Annual Duke GRADx Talks, an event showcasing graduate student research. GRADx will take place in a hybrid format on Thursday, April 4, during the annual Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week. The 2024 talks are part of Duke's Centennial celebration.
Graduate students will share their research in a fast-paced and engaging format inspired by TED and TEDx talks. Rather than showcasing finished projects, presenters share a defining question that they are driven to investigate or explore further. Presenters are challenged to communicate their ideas in a clear, visually appealing way that is understandable to a broad audience in the short time frame of 5-6 minutes.
A reception will follow the talks for in-person attendees. Please RSVP by Thursday, March 28 if you plan to join the reception.
