International Teaching Assistants (ITA) Workshop: Answering Student Questions
The English for International Students (EIS) program invites international teaching assistants (ITAs) to participate in an interactive workshop focused on answering challenging student questions in the classroom. Specifically, this workshop will address the following three topics: fully understanding student questions, effectively answering these questions using a four-step process, and dealing with problematic questions. A significant part of the session will be spent role-playing teaching scenarios, in which participants will apply what they have learned and receive immediate feedback.
Participation is limited t0 15 people.
