Helping Students Write Well-Structured Papers

Speaker

Nan Mullenneaux

Many of our student writers struggle to organize their ideas and express them in a coherently structured way. Participants in this workshop will learn approaches for helping students to review and revise their writing to improve organization and make it easier for readers to see the logical relationships between the parts of their papers.

This Writing in the Disciplines Pedagogy Workshop may count towards the Writing in the Disciplines Certificate (Certificate of Accomplishment in Teaching Writing in the Disciplines).

This event is sponsored by the Thompson Writing Program Writing in the Disciplines series and co-sponsored by Duke Learning Innovation, Teaching Support Network (TSN), and The Graduate School's College Teaching Workshops series.
