Final Defense and ETD Workshop

In this workshop graduate students will meet with Graduate School staff who will explain the steps towards their final defense and the dissertation/thesis electronic submission (ETD) process.

Who should attend:

• Any master’s students graduating in spring or summer 2025 who plan to write and defend a full thesis.
• Any Ph.D. students who plan to defend and graduate in spring, summer, or fall 2025. 

What will be covered:

• General timeline and requirements for degree completion
• Defense documentation and submission deadlines
• What to do after you successfully defend and have your submission fully approved
• What TGS staff look for in format checking your submission
