Duke Research on Tap

Cheer on your colleagues as they present their research in an accessible talk while you enjoy drinks and snacks at the Gothic Grill on Thursday, April 17, at 5:00 pm. This month's event features Enya Dewars, Ph.D. student in Cell and Molecular Biology; Hannah Kania, PhD student in Biology; and Patrick Prochazka, Ph.D. student in Pharmacology and Cancer Biology.
Inspired by Yivsam Asgad's 'Science on Tap', Duke Research on Tap aims to be inclusive across disciplines, welcoming research trainees from all areas of the Duke community.
The aim of this series is to offer undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers at Duke opportunities to present their research to a broad, non-specialist audience. Participation in this series aims to help trainees develop their science communication skills, preparing them for future opportunities both within and outside of Duke (such as 3MT, GradX, and job talks). No registration required!
