Create a Vision Statement for Your Life

Mona-Lee Belizaire

Just like an organization has a vision statement, you should have one as well. A vision statement serves as a guide when making decisions in your professional and personal life. It also keeps you on track and prevents you from engaging in activities that are not aligned with your values, goals and, most importantly, the vision for your life. In this webinar, participants will learn:

  • How to develop a vision statement for their life
  • The principles necessary for a vision statement
  • How to use their vision statement when making decisions
  • How to use their vision statement to effectively plan for the future

Duke graduate students can access this event sponsored by the Association for Women in Science through Duke's institutional membership, sponsored by the Office of Faculty Advancement. Find information about how to claim your Duke membership to AWIS here.
