Alum Zoom: Five Career Questions with Naomi Bean, Ph.D., Regulatory Coordinator, Duke Cancer Institute
Naomi Bean, Ph.D., Regulatory Coordinator, Duke Cancer Institute

As part of a series of short, focused career conversations with former Duke Ph.D. students and postdocs, we’ll feature Naomi Bean, Ph.D. (former postdoc, Duke Neurobiology), who is a regulatory coordinator with the Duke Cancer Institute. Naomi received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Wake Forest University. Naomi will tell us how she transitioned from an academic lab to a regulatory position, and provide tips for postdocs and Ph.D. students who are interested in a career in regulatory affairs.
Five Career Questions:
- Can you tell us about your background?
- How did you get your job?
- What's a typical day like at your organization?
- What can grad students and postdocs who would like to work in this field or explore it further do to prepare?
- What is the employment outlook for this field?
This event is part of the Alum Zooms series sponsored by The Graduate School and the Office of Postdoctoral Services. Duke graduate students, postdocs, staff, faculty, and alumni are welcome to attend.
