Making a Successful Impression (and How to Handle Mistakes If You Make Them)

Do you have an upcoming interview, conference presentation, challenging conversation, or other situation for which you'd like advice? This workshop with In The Public Eye President Joy Javits will help you build the skills you need to make a good impression. Learn to express yourself with clarity and conviction. Practice being engaging and engaged, curious, open, and persuasive. We will dedicate our interactive time together to these goals. You'll receive feedback on how to establish and sharpen your professional image.

In preparation for this workshop, please prepare an answer to the question "Tell me about yourself." Your answer should take between 30-90 seconds to deliver when spoken; please bring a hard copy of your prepared answer to the workshop.
