Since completing her Ph.D. in Musicology at Duke, Camille Crittenden has worked in corporate and foundation relations for the San Francisco Opera, then in Development and Public Relations for the University of California Press. At UC Berkeley, she has served as an assistant dean for development and as executive director of Berkeley’s Human Rights Center, and she is currently deputy director for CITRIS (Center for Information Technology in the Interest of Society). She is also the author of Johann Strauss and Vienna: Operetta and the Politics of Popular Culture, published by Cambridge University Press in 2000. This limited-enrollment event offers an opportunity for informal conversation with Dr. Crittenden.
This event is open to all graduate students and postdocs and is part of the Careers Beyond Academia series co-sponsored by The Graduate School, the Office of Postdoctoral Services, and the Career Center.
