How to Get the Nobel Prize in Literature, with Sara Danius

The Center for Philosophy, Art and Literature will present a talk by Sara Danius (Ph.D.'97 Literature) on April 5. Danius is permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy, the awarder of the Nobel Prize in Literature. The subject of her April 5 talk will be "How to Get the Nobel Prize in Literature." The event will be held at the Nasher Museum at 5:30 p.m., starting with an introduction by President Richard Brodhead. A pre-talk reception with Sara Danius will be held at The Graduate School from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Danius will also speak on April 4 about "Balzac and Fashion: The Question of Realism."

Danius's visit is co-sponsored by The Office of the President, The Office of the Provost, the Program in Literature, and The Graduate School.
