A Guide to Your Ph.D. Skill Development: A Workshop for the Duke Doctoral Academy

Friday, May 31, 2019
11:45 am to 1:00 pm

You’re taking advantage of the Duke Doctoral Academy because you see the value in building skills beyond those offered in your academic discipline.  This workshop provides an opportunity to recognize additional skills you have developed during your graduate and/or postdoctoral work, identify gaps, and find opportunities that can help you continue your professional development. In preparation for this workshop, please register for an account on The Versatile PhD website through The Graduate School’s subscription and plan to bring a laptop or tablet.

Pizza will be provided to registered participants; please bring a beverage to enjoy.

This workshop is sponsored by The Graduate School and the Office of Postdoctoral Services. Questions? Contact Dr. Melissa Bostrom, Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Professional Development, at melissa.bostrom@duke.edu.
