If you're interested in applying for a Fulbright fellowship, join us for this session featuring expert advice from the staff of the office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships and current Fulbright applicants. Our conversation features current Cultural Anthropology Ph.D. student Kelly Alexander.
Following a career as a celebrated food writer, Kelly Alexander has lectured with the Center for Documentary Studies and is pursuing a doctorate in Cultural Anthropology at Duke. Her research in Belgium on food systems, food waste, and sustainability explores how EU regulations on food waste affect organizations from top tier restaurants to nonprofits and social businesses addressing hunger, shining a light on shifting local ideas of what food is.
Co-sponsored with the Office of Undergraduate Scholars & Fellows (yes, they work with graduate students!). This event is part of The Graduate School’s Professional Development Series. Questions? Contact the professional development team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
