Careers in Think Tanks for STEM Ph.D.s (Online)

Monday, April 3, 2017 to Friday, April 7, 2017

STEM PhDs can positively impact society by working in think tanks, non-academic research organizations that influence public policy around an important issue or cluster of issues. Think tanks hire PhDs to conduct and evaluate studies and help develop policy recommendations.

In this free online panel discussion, hear from ABDs and PhDs from STEM fields who have made the transition to careers in think tanks. Panelists introduce themselves on Monday and take questions all week. You can interact with panelists through the discussion forum or follow the conversation via email. All questions welcome, from the most general to the very specific. This event is part of The Graduate School's Professional Development Series.
