CANCELED: How to Talk to Reporters about Your Research

Wednesday, September 16, 2015
12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

This workshop has been CANCELED. We look forward to seeing you at one of our future events.

Don’t get caught off guard! Learn how to handle an interview, become a resource for reporters, and use media outreach to bolster your research visibility. Co-sponsored with the Office of News & Communications, whose staff has trained over 500 faculty in these principles. Participant pre-work: Prepare a 60-second description of your current research, accessible to a lay audience. Our speaker is Karl Leif Bates, Director of Research Communication. Pizza provided; bring your own beverage to enjoy.
