Bass Digital Education Fellowship Info Session (for AY 22-23)

Dr. Sophia Stone, Senior Consultant, Learning Innovation
Dr. Hugh Crumley, Assistant Dean, Graduate School

The Bass Digital Education Fellowship is a semester-long fellowship to provide Duke Ph.D. students professional development opportunities in the growing area of digital teaching and learning, offered through a partnership of Duke Learning Innovation and The Graduate School. The fellowship offers students an opportunity to collaborate on leading-edge projects in partnership with Duke faculty and to explore new digital technologies for teaching and learning. Fellows who complete the program will also partially fulfill the requirements for the Certificate in College Teaching.

To meet the increased need for competence in digital tools and in preparation for online teaching and a career as a faculty at universities, the Bass Digital Education Fellowship will help to provide its fellows with opportunities to develop digital media for a professional portfolio, learn digital project management, consulting skills, and online course and program design skills.
