To be eligible, you must be enrolled as a graduate student or be a postdoctoral trainee in the life, physical, health, engineering, computer, or social sciences or mathematics and related fields. After training in Washington DC, fellows spend 10 weeks as a science reporter in newsrooms across the country, including places like National Geographic, Washington Post and Scientific American.
