The CS orientation is a fun introduction to the department, to some key people, to a few pieces of information you really need to know, and to each other. Orientation events take place on various days during the week of August 19-23 and include exams for PhD students, an intro to the CS Lab Staff, an Internship and Careers session, and lunches almost everyday with faculty, mentors, and others from the department.
