Orientation Week

Banner on Graduate School lawn that says, "Welcome, Duke University Graduate Students"

To help new students make the transition to graduate student life at Duke, The Graduate School hosts an orientation week each August to provide a series of activities designed to introduce students to The Graduate School, Duke University, and each other.

Because of the current COVID surge, The Graduate School's orientation session for incoming students on August 17 will be held online. The ensuing resource fair will still be in-person outdoors.

Also, see the orientation Sakai site for information on the mandatory Responsible Conduct of Research training, as well as resources, requirements, and expectations for new graduate students.
