The start of a new year may inspire you to make resolutions: attend this conference, finish that paper, and make progress toward graduation. Although it may not impose the same kind of deadlines as your academic work, your professional development deserves some space on your list of resolutions, too. Make time and set goals to stay on track.  (The forthcoming Duke OPTIONS tool will help.)

Don’t just take it from me. Your colleagues have some advice to share.

(Watching more internet videos was one of your new year’s resolutions, right?)
