Because research-based graduate education creates new knowledge, it’s no surprise that many Graduate School alumni have carved out professional paths as part of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Whether they have founded their own companies, facilitated innovation for large organizations, experienced startups from the ground floor, decided which startups to fund in venture capital, or worked in technology transfer, these alumni showcase the key role that knowledge production plays in moving innovations forward into economic impact.
