The Graduate Certificate in Global Health addresses the needs of Duke graduate and professional students preparing for careers connected to global health. We provide students with an interdisciplinary framework and tools to synthesize current knowledge and to formulate innovative solutions to achieve health equity anywhere in the world, with a particular focus on health in underserved populations. The certificate requires completion of three courses and a graduate seminar, and includes options for students to incorporate fieldwork or research undertaken within their primary degree.
