Through the generosity of the J. Horst Meyer Student Fellowship Fund, this fellowship supports Ph.D. students in the Physics Ph.D.

The James B. Duke 100th Anniversary Fund provides fellowships for students who wish to pursue a program leading to the PhD in The Graduate School. Its objective is to help attract and develop outstanding scholars at Duke.

The Jo Rae Wright Fellowship for Outstanding Women in Science was created in memory of our dear friend and colleague who served as dean of The Graduate School from 2006 until 2011. This fellowship is funded through an endowment given in her name to recognize two Ph.D.

Through the generosity of the Julian Price Endowment, The Graduate School is offering several competitive fellowships with accompanying research awards.

The Karen L. Wrenn Alzheimer’s Disease Travel Award for Graduate Students provides up to $2500 each to two graduate students for travel to an Alzheimer’s conference of their choice.

The Graduate School is offering several competitive fellowships for advanced graduate students in the write-up stage of their dissertation. These fellowships are funded in part from a generous endowment established by Katherine Stern.

These fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis to students interested in Latin American and Caribbean studies at Duke.

This fellowship from the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies provides support for advanced students in a semester when they are not teaching.

Through the generosity of the Mellon Computational Media, Arts, and Culture Fellowship Fund, this fellowship supports Ph.D. students in the Computational Media, Arts & Cultures Ph.D. program and provides summer or academic-year tuition, fees, and a stipend at the school rate.

Through the generosity of the Mellon Graduate Fellowship in Visual Studies Fund, this fellowship supports Ph.D. students in the Art, Art History, & Visual Studies program and provides summer and/or academic-year tuition, fees, and a stipend at the school rate.
