Ph.D.s work wherever smart people are needed. In today’s creative economy, a faculty career isn’t the only option for Ph.D.s who are seeking engaging and rewarding work. Ph.D.s work in every part of the economy—industry, nonprofits, higher education, and government.

But what career pathway will be right for YOU? Deciding on what to do after your Ph.D. or postdoc can feel overwhelming, even daunting. This special workshop series is designed to walk doctoral students, Ph.D.s and postdocs through a series of exercises to help them evaluate career options and identify next steps in building their career either as faculty or beyond the professoriate.

This virtual series meets weekly for five weeks on Wednesdays at 12:00pm. Recordings of the sessions will be made available to registered attendees. The series is part of the Professional Development Series and is available to students through The Graduate School's subscription to Beyond the Professoriate.
