What are the strengths of ADHD students? What challenges do ADHD students face in a college classroom? How can I support my ADHD students without negatively impacting my non-ADHD students? All these questions (and more) will be answered in this interactive session, led by an ADHD educator (who is also a UDL expert and author) who barely survived her own undergraduate experience. This ADHD-friendly session will give participants the tools (including at least 10 UDL-aligned strategies), to help instructors more effectively reach and teach their ADHD students by examining instruction through the lens of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework.
