RCR Forum: Scientific Writing Workshop (GS 714)
This two-day workshop is designed to strengthen scientific writing skills and support researchers in developing high-quality manuscripts for publication. Participants will learn the fundamentals of writing original research manuscripts in healthcare and related sciences, with emphasis on manuscript structure, scientific storytelling, and clarity of presentation. The workshop includes lectures, examples from the literature, and hands-on writing exercises. It is intended for early-career researchers, those seeking to improve their scientific writing, and participants from all disciplinary, healthcare, and language backgrounds. The workshop will be conducted in English. Sponsored by Duke Global Health Institute (in partnership with the Centre for Equity in Global Surgery). Earns credit for one forum GS714.
