Are you eager to expand your professional network but feel unsure what to say, how to start conversations, or how to make a lasting impression? Join Duke Career Center for a focused intensive designed to help you build your networking and small-talk skills.

In just one session, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Learn practical strategies to start, sustain, and end conversations with ease
  • Practice networking in a supportive, low-stakes environment
  • Build confidence in talking about your academic and professional experiences
  • Discover techniques for following up and turning connections into opportunities
  • Create a personalized plan for using these skills at upcoming events, conferences, or interviews

Ph.D. students are welcome to attend; however, discussions will be geared toward students who are ready to apply the content in the near term.

This workshop is sponsored by Duke Career Center.
