Master's Focus Session: LinkedIn
Is LinkedIn really that important for your job search? Yes, it is. In some cases, it may even make (or break) your job search. Being on LinkedIn will help you establish connections with professionals in your desired industry, grow your network, and learn about future job opportunities. It is also one of the first places hiring managers look when they search for you online. Investing time and effort into making a good first impression can make all the difference.
This 2-day focus session is uniquely designed for master’s students from all academic disciplines who are wondering:
- How can I use LinkedIn to my advantage in a job search?
- What are employers looking for in my LinkedIn profile?
- How can I use LinkedIn to build my professional network?
The first part will take place on Tuesday, April 4 at 12:00 pm, and the second part will take place on Thursday, April 6 at the same time.
This webinar is part of the Master’s Workshop Series and is available to students through The Graduate School's subscription to BeyondGradSchool.
