In this hands-on workshop you will meet with Graduate School staff who will explain the process of thesis/dissertation submission and review the use the Duke Graduate School MS Word dissertation template. You will:

• Use style definitions to define the parts of your dissertation or thesis
• Create an automatically updating table of contents and list of figures
• Avoid common formatting errors that can slow down your submission process

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of MS Word; this is not an introduction for complete beginners to Word.
