A Dialogical Approach to Navigating Tension in the Classroom

This webinar invites faculty and instructors to rethink difficult classroom moments as opportunities for learning, reflection, and connection. Grounded in intergroup dialogue, this webinar explores how instructors can recognize HOT moments (heated, offensive, or tense classroom dynamics) and respond in ways that honor emotion, attend to power and identity, and foster shared meaning rather than defensiveness or shutdown.
