Advance HE Fellowship: Summer Writing Group Registration Deadline

Offered through the Certificate in College Teaching, this eight-week summer writing group is open to Duke graduate students, postdocs, and faculty, as well as colleagues from other institutions. It offers structured support for preparing an Advance HE Fellowship application (AFHEA, FHEA, or SFHEA). Participants will develop a reflective account of their teaching aligned to the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), with guidance, peer feedback, and mentoring.

The group runs from the week of May 18 through the week of July 13 and includes four Zoom meetings and two rounds of peer feedback. The four Zoom meetings will take place during the weeks of:

  • May 18
  • June 1
  • June 15
  • July 13

Exact meeting dates and times will be set based on participant availability. Registration closes May 11; after that, we will follow up with all participants to confirm the schedule. Participation requires a commitment to engage in the full process, including attending all meetings and completing peer feedback and writing milestones.
