Abstract Submission Deadline: Duke GRADx 2026
The Society of Duke Fellows and The Graduate School invite you to participate in the annual Duke GRADx Talks as part of Duke's celebration of Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week. GRADx will take place on Tuesday, March 31, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm in Bonk Auditorium (French Family Science Center).
Graduate students are invited to share their research in a fast-paced and engaging format inspired by TED and TEDx talks. Rather than showcasing finished projects, we ask presenters to share a defining question that they are driven to investigate or explore further. Presenters are challenged to communicate their ideas in a clear, visually appealing way that is understandable to a broad audience in a relatively short time frame: 5-6 minutes. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, February 13, at 5:00 pm.
Selected speakers will be required to attend a presentation workshop and tech check on Tuesday, March 17, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Not sure whether you should participate? Read the reflection of past participant Chris Bassil, M.D.’24, Ph.D.’24, "How Five Minutes Advanced My Research and Grew My Network."
