2022 NIEHS Biomedical Career Symposium overview

The annual NIEHS Biomedical Career Symposium, now in its 25th year, is one of the largest assemblies of biomedical organizations and young scientists in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Designed to engage postdoctoral fellows and graduate students, the Career Symposium provides young scientists with an opportunity to explore myriad career options and create a contact network as they plan for their future careers in the biomedical sciences.

Symposium sessions on Thursday and Friday, December 8 and 9, will feature career-specific sessions and career development workshops. On Monday and Tuesday, December 12 and 13, registrants may sign up for optional one-on-one CV and resume reviews. Due to the uncertainties surrounding COVID-19 this winter, the Career Symposium will be held virtually via zoom.

This event is organized by the NIEHS Trainees' Assembly and sponsored by the NIEHS Office of Fellows' Career Development. Duke graduate students are invited to attend this free virtual event. Registration closes on December 8.
