Each Duke student receives a NetID and a Duke e-mail address. Your NetID is an alphanumeric identifier that will grant you access to Duke’s many computing resources.
Domestic students will be e-mailed information on how to activate their NetIDs after the graduate admissions office has received their official transcripts. International students will be e-mailed NetID information after the graduate admissions office has received their official transcripts and all required visa documents.
- More information about your NetID
- More information about your Duke e-mail
- Contact Duke’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) if you have questions or concerns.
Once the graduate admissions office receives all required documents, newly matriculated students should receive their NetID and email access within 3-5 business days.
