With an applicant pool of nearly 9,000 and an admission rate of 19 percent, Duke’s graduate programs continue to be highly selective in attracting a competitive group of students with diverse interests, talents, and backgrounds.
The Graduate and Professional Student Council of Duke University (GPSC–pronounced ‘gypsy’) is the umbrella student government organization for Duke’s graduate and professional schools. GPSC meets biweekly to address student concerns and issues raised by the administration.
