
Graduate Board of Visitors Welcomes Four New Members
Four Duke community members have joined the Graduate School Board of Visitors (GBOV) in 2025. Established in 2010, GBOV serves an important advisory function for TGS, comprised of alumni and an occasional student representative from a broad geographic area and representing the comprehensive nature of The Graduate School.
New GBOV Members

Kristina D. Chadwick is a Global Program Lead in Immunology and Neuroscience at Bristol-Myers Squibb. She earned her Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology at Duke in 2000.

Richard Colvin is the head of research and development of Comanche Biopharm. He earned his Ph.D. in microbiology at Duke in 1995 and his M.D. in 1996.

Greg Hernandez is a Ph.D. candidate in electrical and computer engineering at Duke University.

Justin Pearlman is currently the Senior Advisor to the Provost at Columbia University. He will begin a new role as the Executive Vice President at the Jewish Community Center of Manhattan in the coming weeks. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science at Duke in 2005.
