EIS Assistant Dean/Director Named TESOL Interest Section Co-Chair

Brad L. Teague, assistant dean and director of The Graduate School’s English for International Students program, has been selected as co-chair of the TESOL International Association’s Program Administration Interest Section.

Teague’s term will run from March 2021 to March 2022.

TESOL is the largest organization focused exclusively on English language teaching for speakers of other languages. The Program Administration Interest Section addresses the needs of ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) program administrators at all levels and in all fields. The interest section aims to provide those involved in the administration of English Language Programs with opportunities for growth, understanding and professional development.

Teague joined The Graduate School in 2015 as assistant dean and director of the EIS program. EIS supports Duke's international graduate and professional students by providing effective, individualized English-language instruction, advising, and assessment.
