2023 Ph.D. Hooding Ceremonies: Photos and Videos
The Graduate School held two Ph.D. Hooding Ceremonies on May 13 at Duke Chapel to celebrate its 2022-2023 doctoral graduates. In all, 279 Ph.D. graduates participated in the ceremonies, joined by more than 1,300 guests, faculty, and staff in person, and 1,800 online by viewing the ceremony live streams.
During the hooding ceremony for Ph.D. graduates in the Biomedical Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Engineering, The Graduate School also honored Martha S. Head (Ph.D.'95 Chemistry), the 2023 receipient of the school's Distinguished Alumni Award.
