About 250 graduating Ph.D. students, along with more than 1,200 faculty, family members, and friends, participated in The Graduate School's Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony on Saturday, May 12, at the Durham Convention Center. The school also honored Mimi A.R. Koehl (Ph.D.'76 Zoology), the 2018 recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award. In all, 388 Ph.D. students and 525 master's students from The Graduate School received their degrees in 2017-2018.
