New Paperless Application Distribution and Review System
The Graduate School continues to make great strides in improving operations. One such initiative that we will implement this fall is the complete automation of our graduate application distribution and review process. Automating this process will have several benefits for faculty reviewers, applicants, and staff. Please read Dean Jo Rae Wright's message to the Graduate Faculty and Directors of Graduate Study and their assistants regarding the paperless process. For detailed instructions on how to use the new system, please review the comprehensive ImageNow Training Guide and ImageNow Training Guide for Faculty Reviewers.

Pregnant employees and pregnant students who would like to receive the injectable HINI vaccine may do so starting Monday October 19, 2009 by going to employee health or their Duke University Health System Ob/Gyn provider. For more information on the University's response to H1N1, please see the University's flu information site.

Contact Ms. Kris Moyle with any questions per the schedule.

From the Dean

At Duke, the Graduate School serves as the intellectual and academic core of the university -- the place where we strive to achieve the fullest realization of the institution's two fundamental missions:

  1. to educate the next generation of teachers, scholars, researchers and professional leaders and
  2. to develop the fields of knowledge and research within which these leaders will work.
