Duke Graduate Students Are Invited to Subscribe to the Versatile PhD

The Versatile PhD Web site is the new and permanent home of a community formerly known as Work For Us (WRK4US), an e-mail discussion list founded by Paula Chambers in 1999. It was initially hosted on the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship Foundation’s Web site. For the last four years WRK4US has been hosted on the Duke Career Center’s Web site and managed as a Duke mailing list. WRK4US Guest Speaker Discussions have been funded by the Duke University Graduate School, the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute, and the Duke University Career Center. The Versatile PhD’s mission is to help humanities and social science Ph.D.s develop and demonstrate their versatility as professionals.

Duke graduate students are invited to join the WRK4US community in its new home at versatilephd.com.  Basic membership is free and confidential.
