Program Description
The Division of Earth and Ocean Sciences offers research opportunities in the areas of aquatic geochemistry, biological oceanography, carbonate diagenesis, climate dynamics, desert studies, economic geology, energy resources, geomorphology, hydrogeology, igneous petrology and geochemistry focusing on layered intrusions and mid-ocean ridge basalt, isotope geochemistry, marine coastal geology, marine micropaleontology, paleoceanography, paleolimnology, paleoclimatology, physical oceanography, sediment processes and dynamics. There are excellent opportunities for research abroad.
