If you need to submit a writing sample for your application, please contact your department of interest to determine whether the sample should be sent to Admissions or directly to the department (departmental contact information can be found at Departments and Programs). If the writing sample should be sent to Admissions, email it to grad-admissions-center@duke.edu. Be sure to include your name and the words “Writing Sample” in the subject line of the email message.
