FAFSA
All U.S. citizens and permanent residents who accept admission are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), whether or not they have requested financial aid. Funding for some departmental assistantships is provided by federal financial aid programs, and may thus require a determination of eligibility as calculated by this form. Also, students who need funding in addition to what is awarded by their departments may apply for student loans and College Work-Study funds. The FAFSA must be submitted for eligibility for these programs to be determined. The form should be submitted as early as possible.
