RCR Orientation Events
Each Ph.D. student must attend ONE (1) of the Graduate School's mandatory Fall RCR Orientation programs (GS710 Campus or GS710A-Beaufort) as determined by department or program (see departmental list below). RCR training is a formal academic requirement of the Ph.D. degree at Duke. Each year we accept nearly 500 Ph.D. students; thus, it it important that students make every effort to participate when they matriculate.
NOTE: Ph.D. students DO NOT pre-register in ACES for any RCR training at Duke. We will provide a separate link to pre-register via an online survey. All RCR credits are posted on the official transcript AFTER you attend RCR training events.
